I travel often and as much as I can. I took up street photography in 2023 as a way to add a sense of purpose and accomplishment to my trips. I fell quickly in love with it, realizing that because of the camera I would go and do things that otherwise would never interest me, interacting with less palatable parts of foreign cultures suddenly became interesting. I had already been aimlessly wandering the streets on prior trips, now I had a mission, and with the camera I no longer felt aimless. With the collection I have now I’m piecing together a series of journals to show the best images as well as reflections and anecdotes jotted down in the moment.
